GET HELP 24/7
Due to the growing Coronavirus outbreak, we have taken extra precautionary measures to ensure the health and safety and wellbeing of our residents and team members. We are currently not allowing any non-essential visits in our home.
We are keeping all friends and families updated with weekly bulletins, and promoted more Zoom meetings with the GP, CCG and CQC. We have a detailed Covid plan on our website which we will continuously update according to the latest government guidelines.
For further information regarding the coronavirus pandemic, please visit the gov.uk website or NHS.co.uk website. If you are concerned that you or someone that you have been in contact with has coronavirus, call 111 to seek advice.
Dear Families and Friends
Now that London and the south east have entered a new, tougher fourth tier of coronavirus restrictions, we are writing to update you on our current visiting arrangements.
Regrettably we have suspended all visiting to the home until further notice. We realise this will come as a blow, when you have shown such patience and support, however our purpose is, as always, to keep everyone here as safe as possible – Patrons, Team Members and not least our Reception staff.
The variant strain of Covid-19 that has influenced the Government’s and our action is not thought to be more serious than the original, however it is far more virulent and we must do all we can to prevent the spread and avoid the NHS becoming overwhelmed.
You will have read in our last bulletin that staff are currently receiving their first vaccinations against coronavirus and arrangements are also in hand for Patrons to receive their vaccinations. If you have not yet returned your consent form on behalf of your loved one, we urge you to do so before Christmas.
There is light at the end of the tunnel, but it is a very long way off. This Christmas cannot be anything like those we remember fondly from the past, but if we can get through this festive season safely we can look forward to future celebrations together.
